Aesthetics and ethics are one.
Born and rasied in Tokyo, I studied philosophy at UCLA, originally intending to become an art therapist. Interior design found me instead, and I discovered that it can be a powerful way to help people shape their lives through the quality of space and the objects within them.
For five years I honed this practice at Woods + Dangaran, where I became a senior interior designer before branching off on my own.
I believe that we seek beauty in our everyday lives to reflect the goodness that we aspire to within ourselves. My goal is to help translate these aspirations, which are at once universal and deeply personal, into material form.
